More expansions in the Northwest

Casinos in Washington and Oregon continue to expand their casinos, restaurants and entertainment venues.

In the little town of Florence, OR (population 8,000) the Three Rivers Casino recently expanded. The cozy casino with a great location expanded its gaming floor from about 15,000 square feet to 82,000 square feet with hundreds of new slots and an expanded table games area. A new hotel with spectacular views opened in December. The variety of dining options includes the buffet, a steakhouse and a 24-hour cafe. Located on US Highway 126 just east of Florence on the coast, Three Rivers is RV-Friendly.

In Marysville, WA, Tulalip Casino has enjoyed the distinction of being the largest casino in the state. Not to rest on their laurels, the Tulalip Tribes continue to work toward becoming a destination resort. They already have a casino, amphitheater for outdoor concerts and a 100-store outlet mall. This summer a luxury hotel and convention center will be completed. Tulalip has always been RV-Friendly. Even though an RV Park has not yet been included in their expansion plan, it is expected that the casino will continue to accomodate self-contained RVs for dry camping. The casino is located convenient to I-5 at exit 200.

Presently, Three Rivers welcomes RVs to dry camp in their parking lot and it is expected the casino will continue to be RV-friendly. Three Rivers is located on US Hwy-126 just east of Florence, OR, near the 101.

Roads That Lead To Redmond

Thousands of RVs will be en route to Redmond, Oregon this summer for two big events in July and August. This week, our Casino Camping blog will highlight RV-Friendly casinos located along major interstates that might be on your route.

If you are approaching Redmond from the south and/or west, you may be interested in some of these casinos in central and northern California:
On the 101 coastal highway, look for casinos in Lakeport (with an RV Park) and Hopland, just south of Ukiah and another casino just north of Ukiah. Further north, there are casinos in Ferndale, Trinidad, Crescent City and Smith River. All are RV-Friendly, so if it's time to stop for the night, you'll find free overnight parking there. If you're traveling through central California RVers get a warm welcome and valuable cash coupons at the KOA at Feather Falls Casino in Oroville. Each RV guest receives a $20 coupon for casino play and a discount meal coupon. For RVing couples that amounts to a free overnight stay plus. Oroville is east of I-5. There are also casinos near I-5 at Corning and Redding.

Along the western shore of Oregon you'll find: The Mill (with RV Park) in North Bend, Three Rivers in Florence, Chinook Winds (with RV Park) in Lincoln City and Spirit Mountain in Grand Ronde. The popular Seven Feathers Casino & RV Park is visible from exit 99 along I-5 in southwest Oregon. Also, in the south part of the state, Kla-Mo-Ya Casino is on US-97 near Klamath Falls (Redmond is also on US-97.)
