Kicken It At Kingsville NAS
Kingsville Naval Air Station has a nice little RV park that is available to eligible active, retired and DOD active and retired personnel.
It's windy in Kingsville and there are no shade trees to speak of, but there things to see and do like the King Ranch tour.
The facilities are spartan but the good news is they are currently constructing 12 new RV sites.
They have picnic shelters with a table and BBQ at each site.
Full hook-ups include 30/50 amps.
A nice place to stay if you're just passing through or have business in the area. Jim Twamley, Professor of RVingLabels: Kingsville NAS

As frequent users of Camp Pendleton's FamCamps I wish it would help to contact base CO's. The camps are run by civilians who do not care one iota for military. I have found many 'illegals' camped there also. We have contacted the CO and also the head of MWR and nothing gets done.

Well a new site manage is overlooking NAS Kingsvilles RV Park and this guys head must have grown twice the size since he got put into power. I do not reccomment this place at all. It seems all this guy does is knock on your door about what violation you are in. You can not have more than 1 vehicle at your site. So if someone is visiting or you and your spouse have 2 cars.....not on his site! You have to park only on the road, which makes no sense as to all the sewer/water and power boxes are on the complete opposite side. Better off staying somewhere else or just waving as you pass kingsville onto the next town down!
