How Big Was the Big RV Show?
According to published reports, this year's Quartzsite "Sports, Vacation, and RV Show" was better than many expected. Promoter Kenny King says somewhere between 100,000 and 125,000 folks tooled through the show's 69,000 square feet of tented exhibited space. If you "never done" the show, you may wonder what the draw is. Well, it's one of those, "If you need it for your RV and it ain't here, it just don't exist." In addition to products and wares for your RV, quite a number of RV "head hunters" were on site, looking to hire RVers to fill temporary "workamper" positions from theme parks to national parks and beyond.
The big tent is still up, hosting other shows. Running on through the 3rd of February you can catch the Rock & Roll Classic Car Show Big Tent Event or the Hobby, Gem, & Craft Show Big Tent Event.
