Working on the RV road goes mainstream
All sorts of professionals have found they can conduct business while traveling in their RVs. Here's a recent article in Forbes about a commodity futures broker who travels in his Dameon Escaper. He meets clients, gives seminars and works from his RV using wireless cards from Verizon and T Mobile.

I'm a technology consultant with a the world's large computer manufacturer and I work either from a home office (my RV) or at a client's site. I also use my cellular connectivity and have run into some unique circumstances that have been challenges - like where to park my RV when I fly out to a client and no cellular connectivity at virtually any remote state campgrounds. I'm a full timer who doesn't own a car - just a bike and public transportation & I'm a single woman. So bottom line - it can be done.

Kitty- How inspiring! Thanks for sharing your story.
Have you looked into satellite Internet? We have found that to be the solution in remote areas. The roof-mounted Data Storm, which automatically finds the signal, is pricey but could be worth it for what you are doing. Jaimie
