Tampa, FL opportunities
As usual I picked up a free employment newsletter in Tampa before we headed to the airport. There is nearly always a short-term opportunity in these papers. Some don't say they are looking for seasonal help, but because of the area and the nature of the business, they could be delighted to hire you for a month or two. Two ads specifically say "ideal for retirees."
- Two ads are for inventory specialists. Training is paid.
- A temporary agency that supplies drivers is looking for CDL A & B drivers FT, PT and temp to hire.
- Another PT job is delivering free publications. A truck or van is required but no CDL.

We have worked for an inventory service off and on for the last 7 years. It is an international company and we just transfer from area to area. Are returning today from a 4 month stint in Dallas and transferring to the district our home base is in. Pay is better than minumum wage, hours are available for days, nights 7 days a week - you set your availability when you hire on.

I started working for Wal-Mart in May 2007 in MN as a cashier and I transferd to a TX Wal-Mart for the winter. I will be going back to MN in the spring. I am able to transfer to any Wal-Mart in the nation. It's part time. You can get up to 33 hours a week at higher then minumum wage. It's the best thing I've found so far, and very easy to do.

Thanks to both of you for sharing how you are making money on the RV road. Glad these are working for you. Maybe you'll give others some ideas. Jaimie
