RV Bus Conversion Recycled As Tornado Shelter

Yes, this is a picture of an RV park tornado shelter with turkey silhouettes on top and no this is not what the owner does to your rig if you fail to pick up after your dog.
When you see one of these when you pull in you know you're in tornado country.

Sleep-walking RVers should avoid this campsite!

Somewhere in America there's an advertising art director who doesn't know the first thing about RVs. We do not believe that this photo that appeared in a real, honest-to-goodness magazine ad could ever be interpreted as a realistic scene. We do know that if there is such a campsite somewhere in the world that sleep-walking RVers should avoid it.

A trailer Fred and Wilma could love

We found this RV at the Flintstone Campground near the Grand Canyon in Arizona. It's not the most aerodynamic, and the amenities are a little spartan, but, heck, it's good for a photo op!

Futuristic car and trailer looks like it came from Space!

We first told our RVtravel.com readers about this futuristic RV from the past at our website RVvideos.com. "Half bug and half buggie," is what the narrator calls this futuristic travel trailer and towing car of 1935. We say it looks like something out of a Buck Rogers adventure or maybe a Woody Allen movie. Check it out for yourself in this 35-second newsreel clip.

Motorhome perfect for a hillybilly!

Looks like a motorhome right out of the Dust Bowl days? Maybe towing an outhouse would be a nice touch to finish off this beauty. We don't know the source of this photo, but we do know that the funny pic has made the rounds on the Internet. Do you have a photo of a funny RV? Please email it to us with the subject line Funny RV Photos at outwest@seanet.com .
