Meet the mini-est of Mini Motorhomes

Talk about mini-motorhomes! This one's like a dollhouse. But it's real. It's owned by Steve Pepper of the UK, who in 1997 founded an organization called The International Register of Microcaravans. In the photo, Steve poses with his Bedford Bambi. Cute, eh? This photo is from the book Home Away from Home.

I'm 6'3". If I slept in that, my feet would stick out the back door.
Or, I would have to sleep on top of the camper shell.

This is the solution to the fuel crisis. Unfortunately you might have to leave your spouse behind. Oh well!!

I've been RVing for a number of years and it is very rare that I see more than two people traveling and camping together in a rig. Yet, the RV manufacturers insist on building impractical RVs that can "Sleep 6" or Sleep 8".
The US auto industry is already internally hemmhoraging because they ignored long ago the obvious trend of consumer downsizing.
This small RV is nothing to scoff at. All one has to do is visit eBay and witness the unprecedented flurry of successful auctions for older and smaller motorhomes currently taking place. If eBay is any kind of barometer of things to come, then my predicition is the old adage, "Smaller is better".
You'd best buy a new or used small camper now. Prices will no doubt increase at a rate similar to what housing did a number of years back. Now we're in a global frenzy.
