Sample Custom  Advertising Rates

Most banner advertising prices on the RV Travel family of websites are based on the number of banner impressions delivered during the campaign. An impression is counted each time a web site user opens a page on which there is at least one ad banner.

RV Travel follows the practice of selling advertising in revenue contracts. The amount of the contract determines the advertiser's cost per thousand ad impressions on the site.

Here are the 2008 revenue contract levels and the associated rates per thousand impressions:

Revenue Amount CPM (cost per 1,000) Total Impressions
(Open, no contract) $12
$1,000 $9 111,111
$2,000 $8 250,000
$3,500 $7.50 466,667
$5,000 $7.00 714,286
$6,500 $7.00 928,571
$8,000 $6.25 1,280,000
$10,000 $6.00 1,666,667
$15,000 $5.75 2,608,696
$20,000 $5.00 4,000,000
$35,000 $4.50 7,777,778
$50,000 $4.00 12,500,000

Please note the maximum views that can be delivered in a single month averages 720,000.
The minimum cost per thousand impressions is $4.

Revenue contracts are established for three, six, nine and 12 months. Impressions can be delivered within any time period from a week up to duration of the contract, and they do not have to be delivered continually. For example, they may be concentrated into one week a month for three months.

All cost includes ad production if needed (added cost for Rich Media if designed in house).

Ad rates are effective April 1, 2008, and are subject to change.
