Welcome to the 23rd issue of the RV Traveler Newsletter, brought to

As most of you know, I just returned from three weeks in Europe —
two weeks in Romania and a week in the Netherlands. RVing is alive and
well in the Netherlands, where trailers and small motorhomes are
plentiful along the highways. But in Romania, where the communist
government was overthrown a mere 13 years ago, RVing is practically
non-existent. During my Romania stay, I saw perhaps two dozen travel
trailers, nearly all serving as roadside stands, and a half-dozen
motorhomes, all class Cs of 20 feet or less. I'll write an article about
my trip soon and post it to the Web if you would like to read it.
