Had to cover the original matress with a memory foam pad, but it is queen size and the original is a small quenn size. I like others cannot believe the low quality of original matresses in RVs.

We bought a latex mattress 8 years ago, it is still like new. We moved it to each new fifth wheel we bought. You can roll it up, fold it up, it bounces right back. It will last a lifetime and we will never have to "break in" another new mattress. We bought the latex pillows 5 years ago and now we will never have to replace pillows again. We am sold on Latex mattresses. We never have to turn it, it will never get our body indentions in them. We live in our fifth wheel at least 80% of the year. We liked it so well, we bought one for our adjustable bed at home 5 years ago.

We use a Select Comfort 3000. It is a full king and fits in the Mobile Suites, even though it came with a California King. We keep the original mattress in storage and when we trade we will put the original back in the trailer.

my mattress is original but have added the foam that comes back after you have slept on it sure makes a difference wish the bed was a little longer though

The 3" memory foam made all the difference.

We ordered a cusom mattress and had it before we brought our motor home home. It was expensive, but considering how much you pay for a motorhome, why compromise on your sleep.

I have a hard as rock mattress and have added an airmattress with memory foam to it much better sleeping. I completely understand where Chuck is coming from as I did not test my matress before I bought my used RV.

I put in a queen size Select Comfort with indivual controls. What a better way to go...

We bought a Jayco Flight Fifth Wheel without trying out the mattress. It was an absolute nightmare. I could not beleive that they could put such an uncomfortable mattress in an RV. I guess it is all about money. We only had it just over a year before we traded up to a better RV.
