ALL of our phone calls are via a cell phone. We also use cell phones as Walkie-Talkies between each other when shopping...my wife has one and I have one and they are very convenient. We have discovered that with ample time frames we pay for are a lot cheaper than using "land line" Long Distance services together with Local calls, in the long run.

All calls are cell calls now. Night&Wknds make it even better. Starting and stopping landlines was simply too expensive. Got an internet dish now too. Phone&internet problems are completely solved.

We full-time, and have only cell phones.

Being a part time fulltimer, when I am in my motorhome, the cellphone is used constantly six months of the year when I become a snowbird and head south. But at home, it is used only when I am away from my home or for long distance.

I have use a cell phone for all my phone calls since August 2000. That includes my permanent residence in Texas where I spend 7 months out of 12.

I make ALL my long distance calls on my cell phone and have cancelled my long distance provider on my wired phone.
