We would assess the situation for the safety of both parties. At the very least, we would slow down & ask what the problem is. Call for help. We stopped on the way home from Ocean Shores on the Washington Coast to offer assistance, help was already on the way. Older couple, both sitting in the older RV. alongside the road in a turnout lane, Flashers were blinking.

I would phone for help for the person rather than stop.

Caution would prevail, It would all depend on a gut feeling based on what the people looked like and what the RV looked like.

Absolutely! I have done so a few times. I only hope others would do the same for us.

Yes, I would more than likely stop to offer assistance but with caution as one must always be vigilant.

I would most likely stop and give them some help. I would however take a look at how they appeared prior to stopping. A tough looking, badly dressed bunch would more than likely cause me to just pass on by. You never know who you are going to run up against on the road, so it is better to be safe than sorry.

It seems that the members of the Good Sam Club are not following the original plan for the clubs membership to follow. I would at least stop and offer help.

Driving our Vette in Eastern Oregon, we experienced a flat tire and did not have tools to get the spare out. A young couple visiting from Europe in a rented RV stopped and shared tools with us. We were out of cell phone coverage and no local stopped to assist. We would help others if it felt safe or call (if in cell phone coverage) for assistance. I know that it may be risky, so use caution and common sense.

I guess I put to much faith in People. If I can safely get off the road and offer help I will do it. I was stranded on I75N. in April of 07 and four rigs and a car stopped to see if we were OK and I would do the same. Any way what do you expect from a Canuck from Ontario. ah!
