I have done 47 (all but North Dakota, Alaska, and Hawaii) in a car and a tent. I will retire in a few years, buy a small class B, go to Alaska that first summer, and then do all the states again at least one more time.

We have been RVing by Motorhome since 1974. We have been in every state, some many times by motorhome. Our children sent us to the last state (Hawaii) for our 50th wedding anniversay, all expenses paid. We have also visited 4 of the Candian provinces and since I spend 26 years in the Army we have seen many foreign countries. In all we have enjoyed traveling very much.

We traveled in vans with the family in tow thru 45 of the 50 states and bought the motorhome to finish out the treck of all 50. We completed the task in 2003 with a trip to Alaska and the northwestern states. Now we are on our second round, visiting the places we liked best in our motorhome with our lab in tow.

We got infected with the wonderlust for traveling via motorcycle 8 years ago. We visited coast to coast and border to border on our GoldWing motorcycles. My husband was hit by a tractor trailer two years ago and lost his arm. We bought a 36 ft Winnebago Adventurer two weeks after he came home from the hospital. In the two years since then we have put on 30,000 miles and visited all but 3 states (N Dakota, Alaska, and Hawaii). Life is wonderful and we are blessed in the US to be able to enjoy the freedom to live it to the fullest. Thank God!

We bought a Winnebago Class C in 2001 and have travelled in it extensivley with our Irish Setter (73,000 miles as of 2 years ago when we had to take an hiatus for health reasons). So far we have been in 45 of the lower 48 states plus Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Our Kate learned to love water at a campground at Moab, Utah that had a creek, and learned that water can get deep abruptly while playing in the outgoing tide at Cape Cod.

We have a 25ft. Travel Trailer that we pull with a Dodge Pick Up. We have been in all 50 states, however only 48 with the Trailer. We also have 2 Basett Hounds that travel with us. The 5 year old has been in 37 states and the 1 year old only 19. They have both been to Canada with us. Our travels to Canada, have taken us from coast to coast and north to the Yukon. We travel about 6-8 weeks out of the year with the trailer and winter over in Florida without the trailer. We both love traveling with our Trailer and our Pups. We take the back roads as much as we can and love meeting the local people. Judy & Jerry Waterloo, Illinois

We live near Buffalo, NY but travel in our Class A almost any time of year. We have visited and traveled in all but 7 of the most western lower 48 states. That will change when we finally make an RV Alaska tour in the next few years. Our 17 state trip out west to Arizona and back last year got us closer to doing them all. SEEING THE USA IN ALL ITS GREATNESS.
