Purchased a Jayco from R V Canada,Ottawa Canada last summer...Went back this year for warranty work.Appoint was for 10,started at 11:30,left at 6..should have done it myself...My beef is with the service dept (could not care less) not Jayco ...They have been very helpful and you can talk to their customer service people!!! I live 20 hours away in N.S.

We bought our 2005 Sprinter at Finger Lakes RV in Canandaigua, NY. It developed a leak in the roof about a year and a half later. They caulked the seams on the roof and then charged us a high rate although it should have been covered under warranty. They argued it was not covered under warranty, and that it was our fault because we were supposed to check the roof periodically for cracks, etc. I argued the roof should not leak that soon, if at all. We argued loudly (they tried to get us to leave), we paid, we contacted the manufacturer in Canada, sent them the bill and was reimbursed as it was covered under warranty. We will never go back to that dealer again. Beware of small dealers.

We paid $1500 for a service contract. Ended up sending letter to BBB to no avail. This year we could not get service so we cancelled due to "breach of contract". Only time dealer responded quickly and we no longer have service contract. RV dealers are not thought of very highly as you can see from the comments. You pretty much have to gamble on everything going right.

Purchased a 95 Award TT at Can Am RV in London Ontario, Regretably, they are 3 hours from home as I would trust them implicitly. I too have found that many dealers are there to sell and service is not a priority. One dealer even had business cards on their counter from another RV shop in the next town for those wishing service. At least he was honest about it.

My Dealer is 100 miles away. I get excellent service pre season and have found the Winnebago Warrantee Service to be excellent also. Oil changes can be local to save gas. A.D. in NH

I bought a winnebago 2006,After the dealer had our check, forget about any service of any kind. Six weeks to look at a problem, forget about time to get it fixed. Warantees are a joke, no dealers want to handle warantees for their customers, nor do the dealers provided on the websites of the manufacturers we ran into. There is no reasonable compensation to them to do the the repairs. As seniors having spent $72000 on a premier product we were dropped as soon as the dealer had our check and we walked out the door. I have been doing all the repairs myself in complete frustration. We have a beautifull Winnebago on Ebay as a result. Too many frustrations ruined our first RV experience. Most campgrounds were better than we ever expected.

That is one of the reasons why we bought our HitchHiker where we did. Small town dealer, we know and respect the owner & employees and get treated the same.
