We spent 10 nights at Texas Motor Speedway. We take our RV there 3 times a year. It is the only way to see the races because of costs and most of all the traffic. Somehow your poll seems a little lopsided. There are so many RVs at TMS that at least some of them, myself included, read RV Travel.com Next year we will be going to Daytona for all the festivities of the "Great American Race". It will cost us $60.00 a night to stay at the rv camp with full hookups. Try to find a hotel for that price that is decent.

Just got back today from Texas Motor Speedway where we spent 5 days in the infield camping in our travel trailer. We have done this 3X year for several years now. We set up a scaffold for better viewing of the track and have a TV on the scaffold to catch the broadcast. Nothing beats being there in person. Nothing!

My husband and I attend at least 5 Nascar races a year with our motor home. Its the only way to go. We love it! When we travel in our motor home we consider it out hotel, restaurant and travel vehicle. Its alot less expensive then flying, eating out every meal and sleeping in someone elses bed and dirty rest stops. Debby New Hampshire

i believe your survey is not a balanced response. Few that Nascar read rv travel or you would get a better %. The quantity of rv spots being added every year to the tracks is doubling. It is becoming the most popular way to view Nascar events and have the comforts of home also.

We attend California and for a nominal fee you can camp a short distance from the track with excellent facilities. We go on Thursday and leave Monday morning. Exiting this track is still a nightmare. This past race it was 115 degrees and our air conditioning was a blessing.

My husband is a huge NASCAR fan! Hi has been going down to Michigan for about 15 years now but has stayed in hotels. This year he and his buddies will be camping with our Travel Trailer! Does anyone have any good advice about camping there? We did however go to Daytona Speedway last August and take the Richard Petty Driving Experience!! If you get the chance do it!! It was spectacular!!!

No, and we go out of our way to avoid the traffic going to and leaving NASCAR events.
