Had to carry and wear a watch on the railroad for 45 years. Still wearing it.

2 cell phones, computers always in easy reach and a wrist watch 100% of the time. I like to know what time it is when I get up during the night to take care of "business" :-)

We both wear a wrist watch, have two cell phones, two laptops with time and date. When I changed the clocks in our RV to Standard Time, I counted six more time pieces. We obviously have a problem! we are Full-timers and semi-retired.

I took my watch off in 2003, while traveling WB on I-90 near Missoula, MT. I had been retired for a year and decided a watch was not that important to me.

I have worn a watch for over 60 years now, how could I stop? By the way, it is nice to check what day of the week it is.

Stopped wearing a watch over 40 years ago. As W.C. Fields once said, "You can always find some damn fool to tell you what time it is."

I took off my watch six years ago when I retired and have not missed it. I seldom carry a cell phone unless it is absolute necessary. Time keeping was invented by mankind for work and I AM RETIRED!

I stopped wearing a wrist watch long before the invention of cell phones. It was a saftey issue. In my earlier days working on the Apollo Program, I worked with rocket fuels and many mechanical parts. Now in my later years I build race cars and race motors. So besides no watch there are no rings or any thing else that could catch on something and cause injury. The cell phone is an expensive watch, but was also most usefull to keep in touch with family and friends and get the bills paid over the 10,000 miles we traveled last year and the 4,000 miles we did this year.

I am retired now. What is so important that I need a watch.
