So all of you "Bush-Bashers" believe he is behind the higher oil costs and that Hilary, Pelosi, Reid and their party feel so sorry for all us RV folk that they are going to immediately get pricesw lowered after the election? Boy, are you folks in for a big dissapointment!

MY OPINION.. THE RECESSION THAT ME ARE GOING INTO AND A NEW LAWYER IN THE WHITE HOUSE WILL KEEP GAS PRICES UNDER $5.00 FOR TWO YEARS OR SO.

Get rid of the likes of Cheney, Bush, and a few other Republican weenies that own a lot of energy company stock, that are known to shaft the middle and lower classes in favor of their pocketbooks and tax the Hell out of the oil companies, and we will see much lower oil prices.

Like it or not, medicine and oil will run this country. Take stock and ask your various political representatives as to who donates the most and in return expect the most care.

If we do not hold the next group of elected officials from the President on down to your city council members accountable for cost containment measures (as well as currently serving representatives) then we have no one to blame except OURSELVES. Those representatives who will not disclose their spending agendas need to be held up to criticism by their constituents as to who they really serve.

I expect gas to hit 7.50 by 2010. That is based on oil hitting 150/barrel. Oil companies run the world. They are likened to the DeBeers cartel for diamonds. A half dozen oil companies control more than 90% of the world production. As a result, look for inflation to exceed the present 21% and the US dollar to fall like a rock. All in the next 18 months, no matter who gets elected. In the meantime, I will continue to travel.

Once Bush and Cheney are out of office, prices will normalize. It is amazing we have put up with this as long as we have.

What can you expect when you have stupid Americans voting an oil man into office for two consecutive terms??? This is the highest gas has ever been in the history of the US. Although, as others have pointed out, we are definitely limited in our voting options. How sorry is that? Democracy or Hypocracy?

Over the last 4 years the oil industry has trained us to expect large price increases. Last November I was at a Shell station off I-15 in Cajon Pass filling up and watched an employee post an increase of the price of Reg Unlead by $.23. The pump changed over as soon as I finished filling up.

As a Canadian we are already paying $4/US gallon. Please stop crying about the price. You put the "Man" in his position so now you have to pay the price. It is time you took back your country instead of just moaning. We in Canada are already being told to expect $5/US gal. in 2008.
