My problem is one of the (grey) water slopping on my foot when I tuck the slinky away. So I use a cheap cowboy boot.

The glove I use over and over is one used for handling caustic chemicals. I just wash the outside of the glove with soap & water when done dumping.

We have the sewer solution system & do not come into contact with any fluids. Do keep hand sanitizer nearby just because of the job involved. Save travels to you & yours!

I use plastic bags, the long kind, like from a loaf of bread or what a newspaper is often delivered in.

I also use heavy duty rubber gloves. However, the gloves I use are actually made for high voltage electrical workers, being a few layers thick, and they extend up to my elbows. I carry 2 pair in case of a tear or the better half wants to help out. These gloves can be found at any Harbor Freight store and are inexpensive. Can be used for any other messy jobs. Just wash off, disinfect with spray, store near dump hose and ready for the next time.

I wear heavy rubber gloves that I keep in bay. Also keep bottle of sanitizing hand cleaner for afterwards just to be sure.

I use a heavy-duty chemical-resistant rubber glove that stays in the service bay and is always convenient to reach.

I use a disposable glove under a heavy rubber glove. Two layers; perhaps not twice the protection but more in any case. Easy cheap insurance.
