We have a 36ft Monaco Dynasty. We love the unit but only one slideout. We live in it during the winter in Texas and it would be nice to have a slide in the bedroom. The unit is a 2000 but it is in very good condition and we are very satisfied with the home.

We have lived in our 35 foot fifth wheel for 5 years. My husband is having a little trouble with his health and the three slides are a little much if there is ever a problem. We bought a smaller 28 foot trailer to use most of the time now, and it is much better for him.

We spent 5 years looking for the right floor plan and found Newmar had what we wanted so we ordered a 2000 Dutch Star with the options we wanted and after 6 years full timing are still very happy with or 38 foot class A

Fortunately we had two years for research before we would sell our home and buy the ideal RV setup for our full time RVing adventure. I say fortunately, as along the way, during those two years, we would probably have bought any one of a half dozen different rigs. We right-off decided on a fifth wheel as it seemed to give us the most interior room for the length. After beginning our research starting with a 33 foot 5th wheel length we ended up at 38 feet, the results of our absolutely, positively having to have a washer and dryer. After selecting the brand and model we discovered the 5th wheel weight would be around 20,000 pounds. We abruptly woke up to the fact that we had just outsized ourselves for a pickup and entered the class 6, medium duty truck field. The two years we spent doing research worked out to perfection. Now, after three years of full time RVing we are still perfectly satisfied with our decision.

At 36 feet and with two slideouts, we are more than pleased. A couple of things that I would change, and still may, will make that even better.

We spent a lot of time thinking about what we would need in our 5th wheel to fulltime. Once we had the details worked out, we shopped for one that would meet our needs immediately. We found a used, custom-made 30 foot that had everything we wanted. After 4 years, we are still content and I could live in it forever.

In the past 38 years we have done almost ALL... Tent to van conversion, pop-up. truck camper, travel trailer, then the same in reverse to a class B.... After living in our class B for about 6 months we decided to really downsize... we now have a Little Guy Teradrop and we tow with a 1995 C-4 Corvette. We love it.

Our 21 foot 1989 Vixen is just the right size to go everywhere we want, and parking is never a problem. Inside, we could use a skoach more room in the bed, but she serves us well for our get up and go like crazy for a few weeks a year ways.

Just right! Only took three different truck campers, two pull trailers, three fifth wheels, one class A, and our current Gulfstream Endura, Class C - over a period of 50 years. The Endura is perfect, two slides, we removed the existing barrel chair and put in two matching rocker-recliners purchased on sale at Camping World. While traveling one fits where the barrel chair used to be the other slides under the dinette table. There is still room to walk to the back of the unit, when slides are in. You do not need to be stuck with furniture as provided by the manufacturer. We also changed out the dinette table with a maple one on a post leg instead of the existing one which was attached to the wall. Therefore, providing more options, i.e. turning and pushing against the wall with a towel for protection to allow rocker-recliner space during travel. It is absolutely perfect for us as is now. EJA
