We are retired and spent four months in our travel trailer this past winter. It was the first time and we loved it. We plan to spend five months in it this coming winter. So we only do short trips in the summer. We hope to go to Alaska in the summer one of these years.

As a elementary school teacher in NC I have about 8 weeks of summer vacation and will be traveling much of the time to nearby destinatinss, the Blue ridge and summer festivals.

We are doing Tent making like Paul so that we can afford more mission travels the rest of the year.

We spend the summer enjoying our boat around Vancouver Island and then Yuma in the winter. We are so lucky!!

Our summers are spent living on our boat. We RV the restof the year. Best of both worlds.

This year from June through September. We are headed to Alaska. We figure a 12,500 mile round trip from the east coast.

As F/T we enjoy the full 12 months of the year enjoying our lifestyle. Why limit it to 13 weeks?

We only camp September to May. We let the people with all the kids have the summer months!
