I would never think of asking anyone if I could borrow their RV! I was raised to believe that to ask such a big favor is not appropriate and shows poor manners AND puts the lender in the uncomfortable position of probably having to say "no." That being said, NO, I would not lend my RV to such a person. If I loaned my RV to anyone, it would have to be MY IDEA to offer it.

Not unless I was driving. We loaned our truck camper and truck to friends years ago. When they got back, they actually told us a "funny" story; While they were both inside the camper, the truck started to roll. He was able to get out of the camper and into the truck and got it stopped less then a foot from a ten foot embankment. We could have lost both our friends and our camper and truck. They brought it back with new curtains that she had sewed. That was nice of her except she picked the material. So never again!!

We full-time, so for us it would be letting friends use our home while we were visiting or vacationing elsewhere, but sure...why not? They would be more careful of our things than we are. Now, FAMILY using the RV is a different story!

Only did because the 5er was located at a seasonal lot and they were experienced RVers with no kids or animals! Worked out fine.

We RVed for over 30 years and never loaned our RVs to friends or family. That is why RV rental businesses exist!

No one puts things back exactly the same as I do. I help my friends and family get thier own. Now is the time to buy.
