Our travel trailer was paid off last April. It was a real thrill to finally pay it off. We were real thankful to have it when we had to evacuate for Hurricane Rita. We have taken good care of it and we hope to use if for many more years. We are retired and can use it whenever the mood (and our finances) strikes us.

We sold our home, and put money on the principal, but chose not to refinance, so it will be paid off in about 3 1/2 to 4 yrs., if not sooner.

I sold the house in Arizona and paid for my Minnie Winnie. Now Mrs. Festerbhum and I can travel the RV parks looking for adventure and action.

Our 1986 Itasca has been paid off for quite a while now. She only has 55,000 miles on her and we have refurbershed the inside twice. I am only 53 and wife is 56, we will buy new before we go full time in about 5 years.

My wife and I own a 93 Coachman class A diesel. It is paid off. We owe no one for anything. The freedom from paying bills is what allows us the freedom to travel.

We just bought our 2002 Gulfstream a year ago. We made payments on a home equity line of credit for months until our financial advisor told us about a reverse mortgage. We paid of our motorhome and no longer have those high interest payments. If you feel that it is right for you, we recommend it!

I too am fortunate to be in the group of those that have no payments. mine is a 95 pusher and lots of newer ones out there but it does the job and keeps my income free to travel on.Would have to work part time to afford payments which would mean less time on road. Not worth the trade off to me! Fulltimer

Pink Flamingo, My rv is a 1990 Southwind class A ,it looks and runs like new , also I have never had problems with it.I would not sell or trade it for a $100,000 dollar dept,I will use that money to travel this beautiful country
