I change the oil myself, using AMSOIL synthetic oil and oil filter. The great thing is only having to do it once a year.

THERE IS NO ROCKET SCEINCE IN CHANGING ONES OIL AND FILTER. GOT DESPERT ON ONE . TAKES 15 QUARTS. THEY PUT IN 16 QUARTS OR 4 GALLONS (ONE QT OVER). TO MANY JOKERS OUT THERE. DONE BY ME. I KNOW IT WAS DONE RITE. PEACE OF MIND TO ME IS KNOWING THAT THE OIL PLUG WAS INSTALLED RITE. NOT CROSS THREADED, AND TORQUED TO SPECKS. IN REALITY WHAT 18 YEAR OLD JUST CHANGE THE OIL IN YOUR $200,000.00 + MOTOR HOME.

Being a retired diesel mechanic, I do it myself on my diesel pusher. It uses 32 qts and I found a plastic 55 gallon barrel and cut it into thirds with a skillsaw. It fits under the coach just right. The barrel was from a shop that had soap delivered in it. Had to was it out at the car wash. Happy trails!

We have paid to have it done in the past but it is $150 and will attempt to do it ourselves in the future. All we have to do is find something large enough for 28 quarts of oil!

I pay to have it done - Now. However, in the past I use to do all maintenance and some mechanical but old age has set in and it hurts the body to climb up and down off a creeper. I found a local mechanic that does the job right and I trust them.

Husband has it done because when he bought his truck he got lifetime free oil change.

I do all of the maintenance on my vehicles, then I know it is done right. I grew up in a family of mechanics, so I have the knowlege of how to take care of a vehicle including major repairs. I had brake problems on the road and decided to pay to have it fixed, they put the brakes pads in backwards and I had to stop along side the road and fix it. Never again will I have anyone work on my brakes.

Just returned from our 31 day motor home trip from Buffalo, NY to the South West and back. Drove through 17 states and traveled over 5,500 miles. I had Mobil 5000 oil put in just before the trip so that I would not have to do an oil change on this trip. I have the oil and filter changed by my local mechanic. I do not do it myself because the motor home also must be greased and all the hydraulics and other systems are checked also.
