No. Thank God. We keep our Class C in the back yard and live in a large subdivision in Southern Ga. In 4 years of ownership we have not had any problems, but it has worried us somewhat.

Not our RV but our toad. We were parked in front of my daughters home in Parker Colorado. This is in a upper middle class neighbor hood. The neighbors across the street had a raucous party with lots of alcohol and I believe drugs. With much hilarity a few of the revelers urinated inside our Jeep Wrangler. Took a longe time to clean up the mess. The police took a report just for the record. Needless to say we were quite surprised as a Judge was one of the party goers.. We got it on tape from our RV security cam.

We were visiting relatives in SW Minnesota (in town). Over night someone or more lifted the front window shutter and bent the slide rods and stole the handles on the black and gray tanks. Same year on the way home from Texas someone broke off the license plate and holder and kept them.

So far we have been lucky; however, we realized that nearly all trailer and 5th wheels storage compartments have the same key; so, we had all of our storage compartment locks re-keyed for additional security. We also ensure the dead bolt is locked when we leave our 5th wheel as there are master keys for the top locks; but, not the dead bolts. Unfortunately, if thieves want to gain access they can; but, we try and make it more difficult.

While parked in our driveway under a street light, both wiper arms were twisted and bent with wiper blades left in downward position facing ground. Had to locate and purchase new arms and and pivot repair kits and shafts. $300.00 +

We were staying in Boulder, MT and my propane tanks and cover was stolen. Nothing was done to the camper. Now I have a chain around the tanks. Like closing the barn door after the horse has left.

Our two batteries were taken our of our 1997 5th wheel, plus all the contents of the storage compartment next to the batteries. Our 5th wheel was in a locked facility, but the thieves used a key to get into the two compartments.

A few years back, I had just returned from a trip in the RV and placed it in my space, at a secured storage facility. I had removed a few of the expensive items, and planned to return the next day to remove other items. When I returned, I found that it had been broken into, vandalized inside - including tearing off a cabinet door and found the mattress to the bed in the "hallway". They had used every thing in the motorhome, including eating any food left in refrigerator and cupboards. It was obvious that they had used it as a home base while they used tools from my tool box to break through a door of a brand new motorhome next to mine and most of the other RVs. Fortunately, my homeowners insurance replaced all of the items taken, and stated that they had several other RVs (at the same location) that they carried the insurance on which had received damage and losses.

The only vandal we had was a tree limb that fell straight through our roof and landed upright on our dinette. It was the night before we were scheduled to trade it in for our new 5er. Sigh.
