Trailer Life 2004 Towing Guide Available New guide available in December issue of magazine, ratings for 1999-2003 models available free online as a PDF download. (NOV., 2003) — Trailer Life Magazine has published its 2004 Towing Guide. This is THE resource for determining which 2004-model cars, trucks and SUVs will tow what. The guide lists the maximum trailer weight for a given model capable of towing at least 2,000 pounds. "Trailerists will have a wider variety of tow rigs this year, most significantly with the all new Ford F-150, Dodge Durango and Nissan Titan," the editors write. The guide is included free in the December issue of the magazine, available now for $3.99 ($4.99 in Canada) on major newsstands. While all the specifications are provided by the respective manufacturers — and the editors made every effort to ensure accuracy — prospective buyers should verify the information by reading the factory tow guide for their particular vehicle. It's also important to note that some capacities may change without notice during the model year, and some are not available.
