Excited to be the first to use this forum!!!  General topic:  What is your home state?  How long have you been RVing?  When travelling/camping how far do you go from home base and for how long?  Are you a part timer or full timer?

Thanks for taking the first step to getting us rolling! We have setup a general discussion area.

We also have an area for introductions!

I’m excited to be the second. It was kind of weird going to a forum with zeros in all categories. My husband are PT traveling anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months, depending on time of year and where the wind takes us. Our S&B is in rual North Florida.

So I guess I’m third up for the forum. Good work Jessica. Glad to see things up and running, but the introduction link just got me a 404 error so I’ll introduce myself here. Home base is upstate NY. We are half timers and travel South in winter to GA and SC where our two daughters live. We have a fifth wheel that we drag along and have been doing this for four years now. This year we will look for a home in the south and plan to stay there for 8 months and then head north for the summer. Basically we plan to just reverse our current process.

Look forward to hearing from others.

Great work on the Forum Jessica. Looking forward to using it. One issue about identifying forum categories is the fact that in the left column of the web page is a list of Categories for Newsletter   Topics. I think some people may get confused as to Newsletter Categories and Forum Categories.

That’s a good point. We are looking to get rid of the right sidebar in future updates.

I did not find introduction area but hubby and I are new to the RV lifestyle.  We have been retired for a couple of years and have had our RV for almost a year.  We have gone for a week or two per month since Spring.  We have been home 3 weeks and I pulled the RV home and started cleaning and organizing and got the fever to take off again!  LOL.  Our dogs went missing and we found them on the steps of the RV waiting to GO!!!  It is sweet that they love it as much or more than we do.   (Especially since they do not have to do any of the work!)  So far 10 hours away from home base is as far as week have made it.  Have our sights set on making it to Washington State, doing a Lighthouse tour of the US and even going to Alaska!  Glad to meet you all!
