Aftermarket awnings available for smaller RVs

From a press release – For those who have wanted an awning on a Class B, Class C, or a pop-up trailer, MCD Innovations, an Airxcel brand, has introduced the B1000 line of Powered Box Awnings. These awnings are available in three lengths, two box finishes, and three fabric colors.

B1000 Series Powered Awnings feature an aluminum case that mounts on the roof or side wall, depending on the model. They operate on 12V, 15A DC with a wired switch and have a hand crank for manual override.

Cast aluminum nesting elbows add strength, and steel quick-adjust levers make deployment of the B1000 Series Powered Awning fast and easy. Legs can be positioned against the RV’s side wall with the included foot mounts. When deployed, the awning height is adjustable, up to 8′ 3″ on the largest model, to optimize the shade angle.

When not in use, the legs stow conveniently inside the awning’s case. For added ambiance, optional integrated LED lighting is offered on select models. MCD Innovations’ B1000 Series Powered Awnings are covered by a two-year limited warranty.

Since 2003, MCD’s shades are used by an expansive number of OEMs, retail customers and aftermarket distributors.

Parent company Airxcel is headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. It is comprised of seven operating divisions and built on developing industry-leading brands in recreation vehicle heating, cooling, ventilation and cooking, as well as industrial cooling and environmental control.

Couldn’t find these awnings on their website. When will they be available?

This shade does not show up in their internal search engine. Real bummer.
