If you plan to be in the Seattle area the first week of August, please join us with your RV at the Enumclaw RV Show August 1-4. The show is being held at the Enumclaw Expo Center, which is the site of the annual King County Fair (see Google map). There are approximately 300 campsites, most with water and 20-amp electric. Some 30-amp sites are available for those who say they are with RVtravel.com when making a reservation. Any size rig can be accommodated.
PLEASE NOTE:
We are not the promoters of the show. We have no control over it, and we make no money on the campsite fee of $30 a night. Gail and I just feel like it’s a good place to hang out for a few days with any of our readers who happen to be in the area. It’s about an hour drive into Seattle, and beautiful Mt. Rainier National Park is even closer. A public golf course is a short walk from the camping area.
The show promoters will present a campfire every evening, plus pony rides for kids and a beer and wine garden. The area is rural and the fairgrounds grassy and beautiful.
Of course, there will be hundreds of new RVs to explore. We have been given our own small building which we hope to use for a few informal gatherings.
The cost of a campsite includes daily admission for two to the show, which will feature free seminars, including one each day by our RV electricity expert Mike Sokol. Other speakers have not yet been announced.
Reserve your space by calling 360-226-3493.
Please don’t drive from far away thinking this is a formal rally, as it is not.
Would love to be there but, we’re heading for Hawaii on 8/1.
