The main talk we noticed a few weeks ago at the NC RV Dealers show was mainly the slight changes given Covid shortage.   There were a few new things to see but mainly slight changes to existing models.  Prices definitely need to get in check.

I wasn't at an RV show, however I did visit many dealers in Indiana in search of our perfect empty-nesters rig.  What I kept coming across was the peculiar absence of a rear ladder.  Dealers kept telling me that manufacturers don't have the materials to put them on. Anyone else hear about this?

Yes! I talked to several dealers who say that the lack of ladders was keeping many rigs off the showroom floor. Instead of waiting for the ladders to come in, some were telling customers to buy the RV and they'd get the ladder "at a later date." Not sure what the hold up with ladders is/was. Strange, eh?

I have heard the same about rear ladders being among the missing. Saw something that could be a practical solution. A telescoping ladder that is about 2 1/2’ tall when not in use and becomes 10-15’ (or so, total height not given) when fully open. Stows easily and never gives access to someone else to get on your roof.
