Some forums discuss that a trailer should not sit for more than 60 days without running for 50 miles or more.  This is to prevent the tires chemistry from breaking down and causing separation of the tread.  Apparentlt, it is suggested that the tires must heat up frequently in order to protect it's structure.  Is this true?

Thanks for your time

With current tires, I do not think this is required. You can avoid flatspotting in tires with Nylon cap ply (read the tire sidewall) if the tire just rolls 6". I checked with 2 other tire engineers and they say that in modern radials (made in the last 20 years) rubber chemistry has improved significantly along with the addition of Nylon Cap plies.
