Did you buy an extended warranty from Camping World?

There’s buzz that Camping World is in financial trouble and could go bankrupt. Its stocked has dropped from $46.08 on December 4, 2017, to less than $12 yesterday. If the company were to declare bankruptcy you could lose a valuable benefit.

Alan Warren, the host of The RV Show USA social media and radio program, explains what would happen to RVers with extended warranties from Camping World if the company were to go belly up: They’d be worthless. But if you act right away, you can get hundreds, even thousands of dollars back.

In the video below, Warren explains why he is so concerned about Camping World going bust and the many RVers who bought extended warranties from the company. Many financed their policies for 20 years, even though their coverage would expire in a third of that time.

Mark you calendars for Wednesday, May 22, beginning at 7 p.m. Central Time (that’s 5 in the West and 8 in the East) to watch the live taping of the radio show on Facebook or YouTube. Alan and a special guest will discuss what to do if you have an extended warranty with Camping World and want to get out of it now and get your prepaid money back.

In the meantime, if you have a question or comment, post it below or call and leave a voicemail 24/7 at the show’s hotline at 1-330-Wingman.

You can hear the passion in Alan’s voice as he talks about this.

  1. RVTravel – please do some investigation on this. I find it highly unlikely that CW goes bankrupt. It might be a ploy and a financial move to shed debt by CW / Gander World / Good Sams.

  2. Camping World is the largest RV dealer in the US and they also control Good Sam. They just expanded with Gander Mountain and others. I would be surprised if they failed. Who is this guy and what is his story? He is “off his rocker” as he suggested!

    • Had read that CW was having a problem. Sorry for the people that work for CW, but it is one of the worst CO’s. along with AT&T, that I have ever had any dealings with. Wouldn’t hurt feelings if both went under. Maybe Marcus Lemonis would be out of a job. He is one reason CW has a problem.
