Funny small town crime reports

I was going through my old issues of my “on the road newspaper” Out West. I found these actual crime reports from the Feb. 18, 1993 Mariposa (Calif.) Gazette. I got a good laugh out of them. Maybe you will, too.

THE CRIMES:
•A trailer mysteriously appeared at the North Glen Mobile Home park during the night.
•There was a suspicious suspect talking to himself in the 7700 block of Forest Drive.
•A strange man came out of a private bar in Greeley Hill saying the wolves were after him.
•A man in the 10300 block of Usona Way needed help picking up his wife from the floor.
•A red angus was loose on Hornitos Road.
•An inmate at the jail hit his head when he got out of bed and was transported to Fremont Hospital.
•A man complained his girlfriend was crazy because she was talking to the TV.

Chuck,

We spend a week in Carmel by the Sea every December, and I love to read the crime reports in their local papers – both Carmel and Monterey. The reports are always very entertaining!
