“Largest RV Show” starts Wednesday

HERSHEY, PA – The newest RVs are already rolling into place at Hershey, Pennsylvania’s sprawling Giant Center in preparation for America’s Largest RV Show Wednesday through Sunday, September 11-15. Gates open each day at 9 a.m.

With more than 1,400 RVs covering 33 football fields, America’s Largest RV Show offers an excellent opportunity to compare or even buy a new RV. The show offers the latest RV accessories, gadgets, camping products and services, and educational seminars every hour.

RV Travel’s Mike Sokol will present his basic RV Electricity class beginning each day at 9:30 a.m. Our columnist Gary Bunzer, the RV Doctor, will speak each afternoon. His topic on opening day: Optimizing the 12-volt battery system.

More than 45 manufacturers will display their RVs, from the smallest fold-down campers to luxury Class A motorhomes and park models. Inside the Giant Center, vendors will circle the arena displaying information about their RV parks, vacation destinations and RV-related services and accessories.

Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and make a list of manufacturers to visit before arriving. It can be hot, so bring a hat and sunscreen. Motorized scooters are available to rent from Mobility Scooters of South Florida. Call 888-320-4911 to make a reservation.

Limited overnight parking is available in a nearby lot for $55 a night through Hershey Entertainment. Daily show parking is free. Free golf cart taxi service is available, sponsored by Tobin Agency, to help attendees arrive at their destination a little faster.

Discount tickets are available online at largestRVshow.com. The event will be held rain or shine. Senior Day, Sept. 12, is always popular with advance tickets set at $9 or $11 at the door.
