Have you been to Europe in the last ten years?

RVers tend to spend most of their time in the U.S. (and can you blame them for wanting to see every inch of our beautiful country?), but some have adventured outside the U.S. to RV around Australia, Iceland, or even Europe. Are you one of them?

When was the last time, if ever, you were in Europe? Do you have any plans to visit a European country soon? Or were those plans canceled or pushed back due to COVID-19?

Please tell us in the poll below, and leave a comment too if you wish. Thanks!

This time last year, I was in the Netherlands. Spent a week on a bike & sailing trip along the Freizen Islands. I will visit Europe again, once it is safe – probably not until late 2021 or 2022

have you tried clearing your caches, history, cookies? I had a similar problem on another web site and that cleared it up.

We go to Europe every 4 years. We were supposed to spend the month of June there but you know how that worked out for us!

We have been to Europe, Great Britain and to Turkey and Greece as well as Mexico and Canada. Also Australia and New Zealand. While we enjoyed the history and the architecture, as well as the various Churches, we enjoy the US, it’s freedom and history and multi-cultures more. Now we are able to explore more in our RV.

I lived in Europe most of my childhood. There are times I really miss it.

I’ve been going to Europe since 1959. Last year (77 years old) rode touring bike with all my gear 1000 miles across France and Spain (Camino de Santiago).

Yes, we have been to Morocco, England, Belgium and France – 2 different trips prior to the purchase of our Class A. My hubby’s Mum was a war-bride born in England and immigrated to Canada with her Irish Canadian husband and the first 3 of 9 children. While there we just had to see Paris. My Grandfather immigrated from Belgium so had to check it out as well. And my brother-in-law is from Morocco so we had to go – most wonderful experience ever! Do not miss the long flights and would rather see the world at our own pace.

When I was in the Navy I lived in Spain, 1971-1974 and again 1979-1982, and while on ships traveled to many ports overseas on the Eastern Side of the world

I also was stationed in Rota Spain from MAR 72 to AUG 74 the again DEC 75 to FEB 79. On COMSUBRON 16 staff and then on the USS OAK RIDGE (Ardm1) floating drydock. Loved Spain. From there I went straight to Brunnum, The Netherlands, NATO Staff Duty and then we got stationed on USS ORION (AS18) in Sardinia, Italy. We loved Europe.

I always dreamed of visiting Italy and Greece, then drop down into the Middle East to visit the Holy Land…not so much these days, sad to say.

We took a cruise from Switzerland to the Netherlands on the Rhine River, traveling with our sisters and their husbands. Great way to see a lot of Europe in a short time.

Ireland twice. My mom & Aunt’s have gone several times because another Aunt lives outside of Cove. It’s so beautiful. No prettier than the US, just different, which is the same for any country I’ve visited. God put something amazing for us to enjoy in each area, as well as some “plain” spots……no matter where we go. Those areas are probably so we have to use our imagination to keep our brains sharp.

After spending nearly 20 years frequently doing bicycle touring in Europe, especially France, we ended up buying a house in Provence with a partner. We now spend one or two 2-3 months stays each year, not counting this year of course.

Yes, we have traveled to Europe 5 times (14 different countries, some multiple visits) in the past 10 years. What can I say, we’re travelholics.

Was in Italy last year and we are supposed to be going to Greece in 2021 but the anti mask yahoos in this country will probably see to it that we are banned from traveling to Europe for the foreseeable future.
Wear your mask people. Other countries did this and are beyond the crisis now.
