Do you start your day with a cup of coffee?

Ah, a nice, steaming cup o’ coffee… what better way to start your morning? Well, okay, some of you might not agree. Perhaps those of you that don’t enjoy coffee, for one reason or another, prefer to start your day with tea, or juice, or water or… wine? Hey, nobody is judging.

Do you start your day with a cup of coffee? If so, how do you take it? Milk? Cream? Hazelnut creamer? Cocoa? Sugar? Honey? Tell us in the comments below the poll.

We know these polls can sometimes take a few moments to load, and we appreciate your patience. While you’re waiting, take a look below the poll. We want to see your favorite coffee mug!

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE COFFEE MUG? SHOW US!

Everyone has a favorite coffee mug, don’t they? Many people collect them on their travels and have cupboards overflowing with mugs. Do you have a favorite? If so, please send us a photo and a description (How long have you had it? Where did you get it? What makes it so special?). Click here.

Sorry I mus have misread the question. I usually start with a pot although I do drink it out of a cup.

Usually 2 cups, sometimes 3. On a rare occasion I will have none, very rarely though.

Been drinking coffee since high school. Now, I put on a pot every am, my wife has 2 mugs & I have 5 mugs + another 2 mugs during the day. We don’t smoke, don’t drink ……the love of coffee is our weakness.

“A” cup?
Surely you jest.

Try 3 to 4.

20 years in the military. I can run 30 yards with a cup and not spill a drop (ask me how I know!) I have a cup in the morning. in fact, our camping ritual is I get up first, and when the DW starts getting up, I make us 2 cups of fresh brewed coffee. she will go outside, wrapped in a blanket, and holding her big mug of strong steaming coffee and enjoy the first part of the morning. we plan our day, and just enjoy getting up.

it’s my job… because if momma ain’t happy….

Been drinking coffee since I could walk and steal sips from my parents. I prefer black with just a little sugar. But I would rather have no sugar than too much.

Started in high school, gallons of it all those years in the military and still today. My brother and I stationed in Europe togather would drink two 30 cup urns daily at work and more on 16hrs exercises and then play board games a lot of nights after work drinking coffee. Both still coffeeholics. Jain keeps picking we keep drinking. {bleeped} Jaun’s a rich man.

never have even tried coffee and i had a 35-yr career in public safety comms. i was low man on the totem pole one day at a staff meeting so i was asked to make the coffee for 7-others. we had one of those drip coffee makers but this was before filtered packs. i thought…how hard could this possibly be? so i filled the coffee maker with water and then added 7-scoops of coffee. lol…i was never asked to make coffee again,

Here is a crazy one. I don’t know how many others can relate.
I’ve been drinking coffee since a young man (early 1960’s). Parents would have us add cream and sugar as we got up, went out into the cold morning to do work, milk the cow and other projects. (yes, I milked a cow before and after school). It was the coffee drinking that seemed unique now that I look back. During the years I would have well intentioned people tell me how bad coffee was for my health, but I stuck with it long enough to now have coffee identified as healthy….. Just sayin’

I always leave 1cup from yesterday in the fridge to microwave while todays is being brewed. Only have to wait 90 seconds for a cup. I know I could buy a machine that has a timer or a single serve but this suits me just fine

25 plus years ago a kind neighbor asked our young son if he would like some coffee. He said “Yes!” She asked, “How do you take your coffee?” He innocently replied, “In a cup.”
Be safe and have a great day! Joe

I feel if you add anything to the coffee then it is no longer coffee. If you do not like it black you really do not like coffee. 😉
