If you like wine you probably tend to favor white or red (or rosé), right? Research from YouGov.com found that 60 percent of Americans enjoy an occasional glass of wine. Out of that 60 percent, 34 percent drink wine at least once a month. So what kind of wine is America’s favorite?
Red wine is more popular than white or rosé, the research says. Within that, Merlot is the most popular type of red, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, then Zinfandel. The favorite for white wine? Moscato.
So, if you were to pour yourself a glass right now, what would it be? Tell us below. Thanks (and cheers!).

White and only white. The histamines are too high in red and cause headaches. And on top of that I like my wine cold. Jacob Creek. Australians make great wine.
My go to red wines are Apothic Red, less than $10 a bottle; Cooper and Thief for very special occasions as it sets you back about $25 bucks.😷👍🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

White with cold food, bologna, ham, PB&J. Red with hot food, cheeseburgers, chili dogs, pizza. Actually we drink very little wine, but when we do the wine we enjoy the most is mead.
Blackberry
Rose. I’m a lightweight. Then I move to merlot.
First time I got Drunk was on Wine (Sly Fox Grape) haven’t touched it since. I have been Alcohol free since May 1978. I can’t say I have missed it and to think of all the other things I have wasted my drinking funds on.
I drink red or white wine based on the food I’m eating. Red with some foods and white or rose with others.
