Sports keep us entertained throughout the year – basketball and soccer in the winter, baseball, golf, and tennis in the spring, and football in the fall. We’d be so sad without them (well, some of us…).
Out of the sports listed in the poll below, which do you like to watch the most (on TV or in person)?
Please feel free to leave a comment, but if you do so please be respectful and keep politics out of it. If you don’t, your comment may be deleted so please keep us pleasantly surprised throughout the day. 🙂 Thank you, friends!
Rodeo
Downhill snow skiing, moguls and trick skiing.
I stopped watching spoiled athletes.
But you are fine with folks throwing and using American flags as weapons. You are a part of the problem granny.
You folks are so political that it isn’t even funny anymore. You are the ‘woke’ ones and I bet most if your family still watch sports. When is your Next NASCAR race?
I like to watch baseball and was very close to having a beer and bag of peanuts in every National and American League stadium. Then COVID put a halt to that, after things started to get back to somewhat normal I was looking forward to visiting more stadiums and then the MLB made the biggest blunder by getting involved with politics and pulled the Allstar game out of Atlanta. It may take me awhile to get over this, so we will see what is in the future.
Golf and fishing. They aren’t trying to be activist participating in a sport. It’s all about the sport.
Yet you are making this political. SMH.
Where’s golf???
Professional bass fishing. It’s been around for over 50 years and they have their own tv shows. Bass Master magazine has over 400,000 subscribers. There are numerous other fishing magazines and tv shows that cater to all species of fish. Fishing is huge industry.
In my opinion, FAR too many “profesional” athletes are overpaid bums. TRUE professionals (Cal Ripkin quickly comes to mind) are VERY few and VERY far between. Abuse of women, animals, controled substances, etc by “Professionals” are more common than they should be. “Professional Sports” has become BIG business with taxpayers frequently getting stuck paying for expensive venues that teams can abandon when they feel like it (but KEEP their name from the state / city they abandoned; think NY Jets & NY Giants). As far as I’m concerned, Professional Sports should NOT be subsidized by tax payers. ANY multi-billion dollar enterprise should pay its’ own way. Recently, school sports players are being “sold”. Education seems to be an afterthought. Truly a SAD situation.
Most of what you just said is done by many people. not just professionals. These overpaid bums are making way more than you!
WNBA!!!
Attending NHRA national event drag racing. There is more horse power in one Top Fuel dragster than the first 10 rows of a NASCAR race. They travel 1000 ft in less than 4 seconds at over 300 mph. I think they rotate the earth when they take off.
And every ticket gets you into the pits to talk to the drivers and watch the engines being rebuilt between rounds.
I used to be a race car driver so I do watch it sometimes but I’ve always been a diehard NY Mets fan.
Good year to be a Mets fan! Best pitcher in the MLB.
Pickleball. A very fast game when played by Pros
Rugby
You forgot Golf !!!
I Love baseball but quit watching it this year. If or when they give their attention to playing the game and keeping their nose out of politics, I may go back to watching and attending games. This is also why I no longer watch professional football or basketball.
With ya all the way!
All my life I have felt that as much as I like playing sports, I was never much interested in watching someone else have all the fun.
Tennis. I used to watch football and baseball, but the kneeling has turned me off.
