Do you own stock in any RV manufacturing companies? If you do, you probably saw those stocks go up, up, up throughout the last three years. Are we right about that?
If you do own any stocks in RV manufacturing companies, please take a moment and leave a comment after you vote in today’s poll and tell us which one(s) you own. We’re curious to hear.
According to Benzinga, here’s a list of the best RV stocks right now. We’re not surprised by the order of these.
Not unless it’s part of a managed mutual fund portfolio that I have money invested in.
No, not independently, but my 401k’s have holdings in REV and Berkshire Hathaway which own RV companies.
I voted “No”, but who knows if one of our mutual funds does? After all, mutual fund managers seem to think Warren Buffet is the second coming of Commodore Vanderbilt or John D. Rockefeller. And, if he owns Forest River, a lot of mutual funds may also own its shares!
I own LCII (Lippert). Virtually all RV manufacturers buy Lippert products.
Just owning an RV is owning Stock in the company. SMILES 😃
For some reason that reminded me of when I shop at Costco. It was much easier to stand in a long line to check out when I owned stock in Costco.💲💲 Just sayin’. Have a good afternoon/evening, SherKen. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com
HaHa…I have to agree both with you and SherKen. !
👍 Have a good night, Bill. 😀 –Diane
I had to say n, but have in the past but sold it last fall. I saw it was due to drop but I have gotten most of my money out of the stock market. I do OK in the commodity market though.
I have invested in rvs for years. Not a good financial plan. Still great for relaxing get aways and making memories
not that we’re aware of. we invest in mutual funds any one of which could have share of one or more RV mfg. companies.
Waaay back, as a freshman in college, I tried to take an economics class. I had to walk out. If everything is based on “if you loan someone a dollar there are now two dollars – the one you loaned and the one you will be repaid” I just can’t deal with the stock market. Never have (at least directly), never will. So, no, I own NO stocks.
I had to walk out. I dropped the class like a hot potato.
Why wasn’t “Hell No’ an answer?
This is not a yes/no question. My stocks are held in mutual funds so I probably do own RV stock.
Same here
I answered no but I do own RV components, CAT, Cummins, and some tech component stuff and energy stocks to fill the tanks. No Berkshire Hathaway or Blackrock EVER but thats a personal choice by specific request.
Ditto! (NO) To Those Two And Others As Well….
I try not to deal with criminals. Their practices are definitely a crime.
Not knowingly. My retirement accounts are managed by my CFP and as such I may have RV related companies in my portfolio.
Sorry, Barry. I just noticed that our sometimes-overzealous spam filter put your comment into the Spam folder this morning.🙄 My apologies for not noticing sooner. Have a great day. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com
I have some Berkshire Hathaway stock and a few others.
Haven’t a clue.
I agree. After years of actively researching to select bonds, stocks, and mutual funds for our future retirement, that function has now been turned over to a professional who manages it all – while I can relax and enjoy retirement with my wonderful wife and family.
What part of Hell No do you not understand?
Not that I know of but with mutual funds it may be in the mix of things.. Don’t think I want to.
Nope, never will. The way they treat their employees is disgusting.
If you own mutual funds or ETFs (including in retirement funds) you might own RV stocks.
Agree, so I answered yes
However, I think the poll should have been asking if we owned any RV stocks individually or at least provided a third option to isolate folks who own specific RV stocks
True, but without having a complete itemized list of the investments, you’ll never know.
