I thought Route 66 started in Chicago and headed Southwest.
Thanks, Donald. This is technically Pennsylvania Route 66, but was just referred to as Route 66 in the news story. It’s also known as PA Turnpike 66. It’s 139.7 miles long. U.S. Route 66 originally ran from Chicago, IL, to Santa Monica, CA, and was 2,448 miles long. –Diane at RVtravel.com
