Vintage trailer RV resort opens in Arkansas woods

Whether you own an RV, plan to own an RV, or are just curious about what it is like to live for a few days in one, you might want to check out this unique resort that has just opened in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

This new kind of resort has rooms unlike what you might be used to, reports KNWA from Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Flamingo Springs Trailer Resort’s idea of “staycation” involves spending your night in a vintage travel trailer from anywhere between the 1950s and 1970s. The resort has completely restored the trailers and given each a theme.

Flamingo Springs, nestled in the woods of Prairie Grove, is described as a 1950s Palm Springs-inspired trailer resort, and features eight renovated travel trailers, a pool, indoor game room, and 50 acres of surrounding woods to offer its customers an experience that is unlike any other.

“Our goal was to find a property and create an environment that would allow people to relax… to be close to town but also feel like it’s a little bit of a retreat,” said Zack Kraus, co-owner of Flamingo Springs Trailer Resort.

On the outdoor channel there is show called Flippin RVs. They showed a vintage RV park in Oregon. The show is based in Oregon. So I guess there are now two. Love the vintage models.
