Where were you 25 years ago?

FOUNDER AND PUBLISHER
We know where we were. Twenty-five years ago, we were right here—working on the next RVtravel.com newsletter. Back then, 80 percent of our readers still connected to the internet with a modem!

Since then, we’ve published newsletters nearly every single week (and daily for many years), along with RV Daily Tips and more than 26,000 articles. In that time, we’ve watched hundreds—maybe thousands—of RVing websites and blogs appear, disappear, and fade away. RVtravel.com is still here, still fiercely independent, still focused on helping RVers travel smarter, safer, and happier—still fighting for the interests of RVers, not industry special interests.

Back then, there was no YouTube. No Facebook. No smartphones. No blogs. Wikipedia was only six months old. Amazon had barely begun selling anything beyond books. The internet itself was still finding its footing—and RVtravel.com grew right along with it, spawning many imitators.

Over the years, millions of RVers have read our work. Yet only a tiny percentage has ever helped support us financially. Many assume RVtravel.com is funded by some wealthy backer or corporate owner. It isn’t. We’ve remained independent by choice, and that independence depends on readers who value what we do.

If RVtravel.com has ever helped you:

• avoid a costly mistake
• discover a great destination
• understand an RV issue more clearly
• or simply enjoy your morning coffee a little more

…then we ask you to consider helping us continue.

A single copy of People magazine at a newsstand costs $5 to $7—and it’s read once and tossed aside. RVtravel.com has been showing up for you week after week—for free—year after year for a quarter of a century!

Aren’t we worth more than “free”?

If you enjoy what we do, please understand: Reader support is ultimately what makes our small business possible. Your contribution—large or small—helps keep RVtravel.com independent, trustworthy, and here for the next generation of RVers.

If you can pitch in we’d be deeply grateful. You’re the reason we’re still here.
