Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2020-2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD vehicles. The 360-degree view camera system may not display a rearview image properly in certain lighting conditions.
A rearview camera image that does not display properly can reduce the driver’s view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash and injury. The recall, which was issued October 10, potentially affects as many as 291,901 vehicles.
Remedy
Dealers will update the image processing module software, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed October 20, 2025.
Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated for March 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 or a local Ford or Lincoln dealer who can obtain specific information regarding the vehicles from the Ford On-line Automotive Service Information System (OASIS) database.
Ford’s number for this recall is 25SA8. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on October 13, 2025.

I will just pull out my handkerchief and clean off my rearview mirror, thank you very much.
Ford has too many recalls and it don’t care about it. They’re as bad as the RV industry.
I’ve owned over 15 Fords including 3 motor home, vans, cars and pickup trucks in the last 60 years. Never had any major problems with any of them and service from 3 dealers has always been outstanding.
