If you’re a Prism owner, PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY. Forest River has issued two recalls for Prism motorhomes. We are including information on BOTH recalls here. Be sure to read through to the bottom of the story to see if your motorhome might be on the recall list. This is a critical recall, that could mean life or death for you and your loved ones. While they may look redundant, they cover different models and years.

Thank you, Russ and Tina! These are deadly serious. But why two recalls for the set of 2023 and 2024 RVs? Seems odd to bundle them as they or the federal gummint ( 😉 aka, government) did. In any case thank you for passing along this urgent information. Safe travels! 🙂
Neal: The feds didn’t bundle them, we did. We intentionally put the two together along with the windy warnings to read through all of it. We were concerned that if we separated the two, then readers might see one, then see the other and say, “Oh, already saw that.” So we bundled them with the warning, because in essence there are four different models from two different years, each with the same “outcome,” but with two different–well sort of different–causes. Thanks for your unending support!
Thank you, Russ and Tina! I tend to skim stuff, too often missing critical bits of information, so your edit helps people like me. 🙂 Thankfully, DW is painstakingly thorough and generally keeps me from screwing up too badly. 😉
Forest River must be the leading RV recall champions. Seems like a weekly thing for them.
