Thank you, Gail! Interesting group of campgrounds! 🙂 Safe and sunny travels! 🙂
Once again I protest calling any RV park that charges $45+ per night “affordable”.
Affordable to whose pocket? For some $45 is quite affordable and to others the limit might be $20. For many in this country any fee is not affordable. When we started RVing $25 was common. That was 20 years ago. My 2012 coach had an MSRP of $250K the like for like replacement is closer to $450K (or more). $45 seems reasonable TO ME since it is not uncommon to see $65/night or more for ordinary accommodations and for special events like our 59th anniversary we spent well over $100 for a night in Las Vegas (when we were tent camping $10 was high end).
Any New Mexico state park: $14/night for a W/E site on a lake, stream, mountain valley, or forest!
Thanks Gail. More new spots to check out when we finally get back on the road again!
