The only thing I look forward to the Stupid Bowl is that is the end of the season and I won’t have to listen to the News Sports Casters about it. Wish all sports programing would move to ESPN or some other cable network. I hate it when Networks preempt the local news and weather for some stupid Golf, Basketball, Hockey, Car Race etc.

Massive waste of time and money on super hype. Millionaires playing other Millionaires. Reminds me of Roman History when the crowds were entertained in the rings while the Empire burned. The Empire is burning.

I sometimes wonder how some of the players (KC) even get their helmets on. Big heads and even bigger egos.
The real losers are going to be the ones that bet big money on the game. Money they can’t afford to lose. It’s all about $$$$$$
Even the halftime shows have gone downhill.

Who knows, who cares? Think and care about something important rather than worry about prima donnas on field playing a child’s game.

Seannn, took the words right out of my mouth and typed them right here. Un-American, pretending for a cause.

I couldn’t care less. Let’s get it over. Everyone knows it is all about money. I will not be watching.

Don’t you mean the “Commanders”?
And Nope! They only played in 4 games this season. The rest they forfeited.
Sorry.

Just like gender and pronouns, we can decide for ourselves what to identify them as.

I was hoping they would keep the name as a DEI protest and put either a red skin potato or red skin peanut on the jersey. Mr. Peanut of Planters fame, could have been the new mascot, or maybe Mr. Potato Head and he could explode his body parts after every touchdown.

Don’t care, haven’t paid attention to football since the 90s when it was a “business/social ” obligation. But if I were interested ….I’d cheer for KC Chiefs.

Sad thing is the price of tickets is out of reach for most Americans. They should tax the hell out of the price gouging sports owners and teams.

And the ticket seller cartels.

Well, we live in Missouri. The Chiefs are a bunch of snowflakes, and what more can you say about San Francisco. They’re from San Francisco. So who in the hell should we root for? I guess I will be rooting for whatever numbers I have in the four pools I’m in. But we do enjoy football, all season long.

Detroit Lions were robbed😭

Sven Yohnson

Yes they were! Along with 30 other teams who paid BILLIONS of $ to 53 buffoons, coaches, and support staff that didn’t make it to the Stupid Bowl. Happens every year!
Just be thankful you’re not a Jets fan! Those poor b@$tards really got robbed!

Don’t know or care. I’m a Boomer and have always viewed male team sports as adolescent boys’ clubs. Have noticed that pro football players tend to be accused of domestic crimes and believe that they see themselves as being above the law. They earn obscene amounts of money. 🙏

I stopped watching the NFL when it became so politicized. It is no longer a fun game in my opinion.

Football? In February? That should all have ended in early January, or even late December as it did in the good old, pre-Super Bowl days. But they also only played 14 games in a season way, way back then (1965, and 12 per season prior to 1961) and the “play-offs” back then were two games — championship and runner-up game. Safe travels! 🙂

I hope the “swifty” team gets their rear end handed to ’em . I am so sick and tired of hearing about her every time I turn on the news.

I’m glad Miss Swift is flying back to console her Kansas City squeeze. He is going to need it.

And with her “Special State Department Clearance” now would be the perfect opportunity for the Japanese to mount a second surprise attack on the US with a thermal nuclear device strapped to the belly of her private jet. Although I believe they would being doing the rest of the country a favor by liquidating “Lost Wages”.

Seems like a lot of sport haters took time to bash football & other sports. I usually only watch for the commercials but I sure don’t think people that watch are stupid or wasting their time. If you love FBall great, hope it is a good game!
