It’s already December 6th! And what does that mean? It’s time to put up your Christmas tree if you haven’t already!
If you’re sitting there saying, “But there’s no room in an RV for a Christmas tree!” We say think again! Read Monday’s tips from Gail Marsh about easy Christmas decor for your RV, including small, flat (yes, flat) and wall-hanging Christmas trees. No RV is too small for a tree!
If you’ve already decorated for Christmas, make sure you read next Sunday’s newsletter for a chance to submit a photo to us and show us how you’ve decorated. We want to see how cozy you’ve made your RV!

Although we don’t live in a large home, we put up 5 artificial trees every year. My wife is an excellent decorator and all the trees are always beautiful. The largest one has over 800 ornaments and takes us a couple of days to decorate. It’s too bad that we don’t have either of our sons coming home this year or any friends either to visit and enjoy the trees.
Wow! Would love to see a couple of photos!
We planted a real Christmas tree in the front yard when we purchased this house. It is now taller than the house, and only has ornaments on the lower section. My ladder will not reach the top.
last weekend.
Just this morning here!!
Not at home this year; will be with the grandkids and family!
If we were, we would put up an artificial tree.
24″ in the RV in front of a window on the living room side board.
Since we are in AZ, we decorated one of the 2 mesquite trees on our small lot. 1000 lights, they go up the trunk and follow the branches.
My wife was in the “bah humbug” mood til her older sister told her if she didn’t put up a tree this year, she probably wouldn’t ever again. So she got right on it.
Normally, yes, we would have one, two, or even three trees in our sticks and bricks. However, new puppy is almost 6 months of age, puts everything that fits into his mouth and bites down if not chews whatever it is. So, rather than defend all Christmas decorations, especially low-hanging ornaments, we decided to not fight that fight. Hopefully sufficient training will occur before next Christmas so we can have at least one tree in the house.
Artificial tree, (wife has asthma) our tree was up Nov 10th, as my wife is a Christmas fanatic.. It actually is nice to put up all the decor and enjoy the season a bit longer than most. We enjoy how the house looks, inside and out. Merry Christmas everyone, safe travels.
The same 5′ artificial tree we’ve had for 30-yrs. If I had my way it’d go up on 12/24 and come down on 12/26. 👍
Ha! Bum Bugs!
🤣🤣👍👍 Have a great day, Sven. 😀 –Diane
No tree
No decorations. We’ve done that for 62 years of our marriage. Now no real extra room and no shopping for unneeded or unwanted merchandise. The checks (generous by the way) in the mail. And one size fits all
Mr Grinch
We broke down and bought a Balsam Hill tree a few years ago and it was the best thing we could have done. I’m allergic to pine so having a real tree is not an option. We got tired of having to buy a new tree every couple of years because even the $200+ trees started to fall apart after 2-3 years.
We have two! One on the main floor – picture window is a 5′ $5.00 Blue Lite special we bought some 20 yrs ago with the intent of putting it on the deck and feed birds with – if nothing else! It is deco’d with white and silver ornaments and white lites – beautiful!
The 2nd is an artificial 7′ tree we also bought some 20 yrs ago after the kids were grown. It is in the lower level and the “family tree” with typical deco. Great grandkids love them both and help with the deco. Merry Christmas all – and remember the reason for the season!
I put up some lights outside our S&B
I marked yes for an artificial tree, but it’s not a “typicsl” tree. I live in a13′ Scamp. There’s VERY limited counter space, so what I’ve done is decorate a flat craft wood tree, to “hang” on the closet door. Tree is up, out of the way, n not taking up space!
7′ artificial in the living room. Couple more on the porch. And although “technically” Christmas decorating is on the wife’s to-do list, I get to do the heavy lifting.
Started the day after Thanksgiving, and won’t be done until New Years!
We have had a very nice artificial tree for three houses. It is 7 feet tall. Recently, we have used just the top on a table. Probably again this year.
We live on 8 acres on a dead end road, so I definitely decorate. We have huge Christmas light bulbs on the ground at the gate, BH garland on the gate, Dalmatians in the beds. We have 4 huge lit deer by the front pond, and 4 lit snowman, giant Christmas ornaments from Costco are all over the front yard and a Santa, snowman an light post on the porch. That’s the front lawn. We have in the dining room a huge santa with Christmas tree and a life size reindeer with a baby and a sleigh full of packages, lots of LED Christmas ornaments from Costco. Do you want to hear about the rest? Hahaaaaa.. I was supposed to be born on Christmas Day. I think I’m VERY OCD.
