Do you get more exercise at home or when RVing?

Where do you get more exercise: when you’re in your sticks-and-bricks home or while you’re on the road in your RV?

It could go either way: You could go for daily walks at home, do yard work, go to exercise classes… Or, you could not do any of that stuff and you could sit around inside thinking about how badly you want to be RVing! And while RVing, you could be out on hikes and adventures every day, or you could just spend a lot of time drivin’ and sittin’. So what is it?

We go to the mountains to day hike, so we get more exercise then.

Might be shorter steps but RVing. Seems like always moving especially the dogs.

Golfing (walking always) when at home. Golfing and hiking when on the road with the RV.

Our 1906 house requires more maintenance than our 21st century RV. So, just as much exercise, but covering less new territory!

Probably at home. We do lots of manual labor around the farm when we are home. We may walk a bit more when traveling, but probably expend many fewer calories.

We’re fulltimers, so I clicked when we’re RVing. No stix ‘n’ bricks for us.

We are members olf a local athletic club and both of us go there at least a couple of times a week, most often four times just to swim laps in the pool.

Grew up on a lake in NJ swimming 1/2 the year. Now swim in the ocean NC 1/2 the year. No club close enough to swim at. BTW… Great last name 👍

About the same, just in different formats. Home, gym and at home work outs. RV is during excursions: hiking, biking, kayaking, etc.

More exercise at home. I have acreage and am constantly planting, trimming, mowing, hauling mulch, picking up branches, etc. I take dog for more walks than when I am home, but I get ‘antsy’ without my home chores. I am not a sitter, relaxer.
