You could say I’m on a “seafood” diet. See food eat it

I don’t like “diets”, because they imply that you will go off them when you meet your goal. Then you will gain all the weight you just lost, plus some. If you want to lose weight permanently, you must make a permanent change to your eating and exercise habits.

No, but should be. I’m on the proverbial see food diet.

I hate laying out money for a new wardrobe. When wardrobe gets old & tattylooking then I replace it. My mom had a wardrobe that took up every closet in her house My tastes are much simpler I try to allow for 10lbs up or down. Size 10-12

Having health issues I watch what I eat somewhat. Tired of chicken and salads and fish but bring on the fruit. Just one of the old age things I guess. But use to be like others see food and eat and surely cleaning everything off the plate.

Want to lose weight quickly? Just cut out the alcohol, no other changes. Try it for one month and see what happens.

Whenever I tried a “diet” to lose weight it was a big FAIL! What worked were lifestyle and eating habit changes. Exercise and eating better have helped me lose weight and keep it off. When I would try a “diet” it seemed like a mental punishment or depriving me of what I wanted. Now I eat what I want within my eating habit change. Might not be a philosophy for everyone, but it worked for me.

Yes, trying to drink more water, fewer soft drinks, and generally use less sugar. I can stand to lose several pounds. 🙁

I’m not sure our “diet” will ever end. We prefer to call it a lifestyle nutrition. Have been full timing for 8 years and I have lost 124 lbs. My husband has lost 80. No drugs, just lots of walking, limiting alcohol and not much junk. Of course we do treat ourselves sometimes!!!

Great job, Darla and hubby!👍👍 Wow! It sounds like you have the correct mindset to continue to enjoy your healthier lifestyle for the rest of your life, which I’m sure will be much longer, now, than it would have been otherwise. Have a good afternoon/evening. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com

You’re sooo welcome, Darla. Been there, done that (weight loss). But I also now have the correct mindset (like you folks appear to) and it’s serving me very well to keep my eating under control. In fact, I’ve kept 100 extra pounds off for 25 years, after being overweight since the early ’60s. Plus, I’m walking every day (need a break from working on the computer all day long). So, that helps a lot, also. Keep up the good work!👍🤗 –Diane

Since I married a year ago I have lost 30+ pounds. Cut out sugar, wife knows how to cook healthy food. Praise God.
