How many nights in a row do you wear the same pajamas?

You can tell a lot of our poll questions come to us when we’re doing everyday things. Like this one, which came to us as we pulled a clean pair of pajamas out of our drawer. (See, we’re real humans!)

How many nights in a row do you wear the same pair of pajamas? Do you wear a new pair every night? Every other night? Do you wear the same pair for three nights before changing? Do you wear the same pair for a week? More than a week?

Now we know your answer to this may change depending on if you’re in your RV versus your sticks-and-bricks house, but try and answer the best you can, even if it’s your average between the two.

And if you’re suddenly thinking you may need another pair of pajamas, click here for tons of camping and RVing-themed PJs. They are so fun!

I haven’t had PJ’s since grade school. Can you even buy adult PJ’s?

A lot of “commandos” in the group.

Thank you, RV Travel! 🙂 I do npt know the answer to the question. I chose 10 or more, but the real answer is that I wear them however many nights that pass between washings. Often it is several days as I often to forget to add them to the dirty clothes when I do laundry. Thanks again and safe travels! 🙂

Wife wears Joy Spun PJs from Walmart 24/7 unless we go out. Very comfortable.

Well, you are correct. Depends is always dependent on something else unless the something else is totally INdependent.

As I read today in RVT, “You can’t depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.” ―Mark Twain Or maybe I need to better explain myself with words and punctuation. kellyr

I would presume about 50% of the 52% are wearing nightgowns vs pj’s. ?? ha!

I didn’t think of nightgowns. Oh, my gosh, do we need another survey? This is important. Tops and bottoms with buttons or just pull-ons? Shorts or long pants, long sleeves or no sleeves? Boxers or briefs? Lace or cotton? Buttons, cotton, pants and sleeves will weigh more, and therefore could be an overweight problem. I now understand the RV issue here.

I classify all sleep wear as pajamas or pyjamas. Originally pajama emerged from Persian word ..for leg covering….historically we/European/English/American used “nightshirt or nightgown” pajama came into use in the mid 1800’s. But I am curious if 51% of responders sleep in the buff or just underwear? I’m to concerned about emergency egress during the night..lol.

Usually I just wear a pair of light weight, soft shorts and sometimes a tank top. Some wouldn’t call these pajamas but I think any sleepwear would qualify. If I have to get up and go out in the night for any reason I don’t want to be looking for something to put on.

Change to fresh PJs after twice weekly shower. More frequent shower causes chronic itch.
