Out of these options, which is your favorite type of cuisine?

This is a hard one to answer, we know. That’s why we gave you two votes for this poll, so you can pick your top two answers, since picking just one may be too hard.

Have you ever been asked the question, “What are your three desert island foods?” Well, what are they? Please leave a comment and tell us, if you were stranded on a desert island and could only eat three foods for the rest of your time there, what three foods would they be?

And while you’re thinking about your answer, go ahead and vote here in the poll below. Which, out of these options, is your favorite cuisine? Is it Mexican food? Chinese food? Japanese food? Greek food? Remember, you can select two!

P.S. Last time we ran this poll (a few years ago) many of you commented that “seafood” was your favorite cuisine, but we didn’t include that because it’s not really a cuisine, just a category of food. But trust us, we love seafood too (we’re from Washington, after all!).

Sea Food in most forms

Well, I chose “Other”, and regardless if it’s a category as you describe it, “Seafood and Shellfish” are still my favorites.

My favorite is Korean cuisine

I couldn’t answer, I love most of those listed.

I like Italian and polish food.

While I voted for Mexican (Tex-Mex) and Italian, it certainly does not mean that I don’t thoroughly enjoy many other cuisines. Many German dishes (and other than brats, surprisingly hard to find in the U.S.) rank high

Wife would eat Mexican food everyday, forever. I like Mexican food, but there is so little variety that it gets tiring to me. On the other hand, I would eat Chinese food everyday. Honey Walnut Shrimp, Yummy! King Crab and Lobster are the best but too expensive.

Just what I thought. Nothing in the world better than a good taco. Nothing.

As seafood is a priority growing up on it, it’s great on a grill so included it in the number one choice. All the selections are good depending what items, sometimes a roll of Tums follow or ice cream.

One of my votes was Mexican, but in reality, it is New Mexican, which isn’t quite the same thing.

Or Tex-Mex!

Being stranded on a desert island you better like seafood. I love fresh seafood but my favorite is Mongolian. I think most people like “American” foods and many haven’t tried too many other types. I’m game to try most any kind. Roasted grasshopper and rattlesnake are pretty good.

This is a tough one! I like most of these, plus a number that didn’t make the list!

Chinese and seafood always hit the top of my list, followed by Mexican, then Italian, then Greek, then other stuff. I’m always willing to try new cuisine if it isn’t something too gross for my palate (like the “stink heads” popular among Alaska natives…)

Thank you, RV Travel! DW doesn’t like, won’t eat, Chinese food, so I eat it at every opportunity, which isn’t often. So, too, fish — Captain D’s and Long John Silver’s. No, not remotely a foodie. (Achieve a minimal quality at as little effort/expense as possible.) 😉 Happy new year and safe travels! 🙂
